MY EXPERIENCE

INTRO 

I've gotten really frustrated with how slow and tedious it is to get my videos up and running and on to Youtube, but after I wash my hair for the first time after changing relaxers and giving my hair time to adjust I will try to do short videos about my experience and some more product reviews.  However, if you came to my blog by a search engine stay awhile.

I want to review the ORS Olive Oil Moisturizing Hair Lotion, I love using natural products for my body and skin.  But after making the decision to go back to relaxers I've decided to try some products that lady's on Youtube have used that's been doing really well for them.  That's how I came to purchase this product, I still couldn't get the right information that I needed from what they where saying.  So I decided that I would just give it a try.

YOUR HAIR CAN USE SOME MOISTURE

I originally purchased the Wave Noveau Moisturizing Finishing Lotion first because it was clear from what I got from Youtube that this did moisturize, but the problem I had with it is it reverts your hair back.  I never used it on my flat ironed hair, but when I did roller set's I would use it two days after for more moisture every day.  Let me tell you the moisturize and seal technique is no fun, it takes time at least for me.  I then purchased the ORS Olive Oil Moisturizing Hair Lotion, but I only tried it on a small section of my hair and didn't continue using it because I liked the Wave Noveau and wanted to use it all up first.  I also knew from doing my research that it can weigh your hair down.  I found out that using the Wave Noveau Moisturizing Finishing Lotion did moisturize my dry and thirsty hair and seem to make stretching easier.  I eventually got tired of it though, because my hair would revert in the summer's heat.  This may not be the style, but it could just have mean't my hair was well moisturize and perhaps taking in whatever moisture that was in the air.

MY FIRST REAL USE OF ORS OLIVE OIL MOISTURIZING HAIR LOTION

After going from texlaxed to relaxed and rollersetting my hair with the Kinky Curly Knot Today I wasn't loving the feel of it.  So I decided to use the Ors Olive Oil Moisturizer since it is the seem brand as the relaxer I used.  I did my hair in really small sections applied from the roots to the ends and combed it through with a small rat tail comb.  It really did moisturize my hair, which I loved and helped to detangle it.  It's been since Thursday and I've used a little in my hair everyday since.  I didn't need to rollerset my hair again, or blow dry and flat iron it.  It didn't revert my hair after putting it in, and or after going out in the summer's heat.  I've done pin curls the last few days.  I'm happy that shedding is staying to a minimum and so is breakage.  I just gave myself a trim today, applied some more of the moisturizer and my shea butter and coconut mixture and combed my hair.  It's not as weighed down as the other day's.

IS THERE A NATURAL ALTERNATIVE

There should be natural products that compare to the consistency of the product and what it does, but trying different product's get's expensive.  That's why it's great to have help online.  I never really used daily leave in moisturizers, I'm just learning about them.  So I will be on the hunt for a natural 100% leave in, I will also try the Wave Noveau on my newly relaxed hair and see what happens, it doesn't have as many ingredients as the Ors Olive Oil Moisturizing Hair Lotion.
