I still use Fantasia Ic Hair Polisher Heat Protector Straightening Serum on my hair and everyone else hair that I do. I decided that since I blow dry my hair at least once a month, I wanted to try a liquid blow dry cream. So the hunt is on, I have at least two other products in my wish list on Amazon that I will be trying. However, I decided to try the Chi Straight Guard Smoothing Styling Cream first.
How I Used It
I applied it to my wet/damp clean natural hair, and proceeded to blowdry my hair as usual. I usually use the Giovanni Leave In Conditioner followed by the Fantasia Ic Heat Protector which
works fine.
What Was My Results
I thought that since this was a liquid protectant that it would leave my hair smooth and silky. Also that it would cut out the need for me to apply a leave in then a heat protectant. I didn't like it, it made my hair dry. I usually use the high heat setting on my dryer, but my hair still doesn't get that dry with the Giovanni Leave In.
Conclusion
This product has a strong masculine cologne sent, it didn't work for my hair as a blowout. I'm thinking about using it when I flat iron my hair, but it is a liquid, so applying this to my hair when it's dry doesn't make much sense. I may have to just use it as a leave in heat protectant to get my money's worth.
